Ahoy, Marisela!
What a magical getaway you have to look forward to on the Disney Wonder! I know you want to experience as much MAGIC and WONDER as you can, so I'm happy to help you with some tips to maximize your time onboard.
On the past 2-Night San Diego sailings, Disney Cruise Line has celebrated Pirate Night with a Pirate-themed dinner and the Pirates IN The Caribbean Deck Party. It does not appear that fireworks are planned at this time, but programming is always subject to change. Pirate attire is suggested, so feel free to bring your costumes to join in on the fun!
As for your dinner seating, my crew enjoys second seating because it gives us a little more time in the afternoon. Second Seating Guests see the show before dinner (around 6:15 p.m.) while Main Seating Guests see the show after dinner. Dinner can range from 60 to 90 minutes so there is still plenty of time to experience activities after your meal. There are also events planned between the shows and dinner so your cruise newsletter (Personal Navigator) and the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will be your go-to guides for everything you need to know about onboard happenings. You'll want to keep them both at your fingertips throughout your cruise vacation. If you have questions about an activity be sure to ask a member of the cruise staff. They will be happy to give you an idea of what to expect.
What you don't want to miss are the two shows in the Walt Disney Theatre-Frozen, A Musical Spectacular and Disney Dreams-An Enchanted Classic. On the second night, Til' We Meet Again in the Lobby Atrium is a wonderful opportunity to get photos and autographs of your favorite Disney Pals so have your camera ready!
Your vacation will be special, Marisela! Take time to explore the ship, meet the crew and experience some Disney magic!
