We are cruising the 7 night Alaskan cruise on the Wonder in June. There are nine of us with five being kids ages 5-9. What attire is recommended? Also, how many formal/special dinners do we need to pack for?

    Hi Tammy!

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I'm thrilled you are here and planning an upcoming voyage on Disney Cruise Line! Sailing to the breathtaking Alaskan ports of call is going to definitely be a trip of a lifetime for your seafaring crew!  Clothes that you can layer are perfect for your daytime attire on your sailing.  It will be cool in the morning, but should warm up a bit by mid-afternoon.  Comfortable shoes are a must for when you venture ashore.  The pools are heated so don't forget bathing suits, cover-ups, and shoes for the pool deck.

At night you can expect four cruise casual nights, one pirate night, one semi-formal and one formal night.  DisneyCruise.com has recommendations for your dining attire each evening.  If you don't have any pirate costumes you can find a selection of pirate items available in Mickey's Mates on Deck Four.  If you haven't already, be sure to check out DCL Mom Andi's Alaskan videos.  They are very helpful for future cruisers like you!

Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel, Tammy!  As you continue to plan for your cruise, please let me know if you think of any other cruise questions. I'm always happy to help!

Have a wonderful day and magical voyage!
