Hi Stacey, it's nice to hear from you again! When that final morning of your Disney Cruise Line voyage arrives, it's pretty bittersweet. I know that those mornings are my least favorite of our cruises, but since we always book our next
Disney Cruise while onboard (taking advantage of the big price savings and perks for doing so!), we at least leave knowing we will be back again!
If you'd like to book a taxi to take you to the airport, I recommend looking up a few different taxi companies online by searching "taxi from Port Canaveral to MCO". You'll find different companies and their numbers listed there. However, a less expensive option is to call a Lyft or Uber. Have you ever used these before? I hadn't until I tried it in San Diego before for Disney Cruise there, since we weren't coming from the airport and couldn't use Disney's transfers. Lyft was so easy. I downloaded the app to my cell phone and then when I was ready, I simply opened the app, it located us on the map, and I requested the exact size car we would need for our family and luggage. I watched as it located a Lyft driver, and then the map showed where they were, and how many minutes it would be until the driver arrived. I could even watch their car move along the map! Once in the car, my kids thought it was awesome to hold my phone and watch our car move along the map, so they could see exactly how far away we were from the ship! Honestly, it's easier and less expensive than a taxi and I know there are plenty of Lyft and Uber drivers around Port Canaveral that can take you back to the airport. You can even play around with the app now, as if you were about to call a Lyft in Port Canaveral now to get an estimate of cost of that ride.
Another option is to book a private transfer, which you can Google to find many different options and prices online too. I hope that helps as you decide on your return rides, Stacey!
