Hi Anita,
Thanks for
cruising over to planDisney. I know that you are dreaming of the adventure of a lifetime for your lucky grandchildren, and now so am I. Thank you for allowing us into the dream for even a brief moment.
You are correct that there are no scheduled
Disney Cruise Line voyages out of the Port of New York scheduled in 2024 or early 2025. So much goes into planning the itineraries for the
Disney Cruise Line fleet and all of the pieces have to fit perfectly into the puzzle. I wish I could share with you why that decision was made or when we might hear the magical melodies of a Disney Cruise Line Ship as she sails into this historic port. For now, we will have to keep an eye on the Disney Cruise Line website and
Disney Parks Blog for any big announcements.
In the meantime, I have an idea:
There is nothing quite like a
Disney Vacation by Land and Sea. What if you hopped on the three-hour flight from New York City to Orlando to explore the virtually unlimited
dining and
entertainment offerings at
Walt Disney World Resort? After a few days of thrills and excitement, head on over to Port Canaveral to board the stunning
Disney Dream,
Disney Fantasy, or
Disney Wish and sail into the gorgeous Florida sunset. This would be a journey they will hold in their hearts forever.
Disney Land and Sea vacations are truly the best of both worlds. Best of all, the friendly Cast Members at Disney Cruise Line can handle all of your reservations for you in one place. Simply
give them a call to get started.
I hope this was helpful, Anita. Before I go, I have to say how lucky your grandchildren are to have someone who loves them as deeply as you. To want to show them the world (shining, shimmering, splendid) through an experience like this means that you are a thoughtful grandparent with big plans for very loved kiddos. I love to see it!
Please let us know if you have any other questions. We are here for you!
Adventure is out there,
Sally
