Hi Becky,
It is great to see you aboard planDisney again! Thanks for stopping by with another great question.
What a wonderful cruise you have coming up! I can't wait to sail aboard
Disney Treasure. She is a stunning ship full of magic and wonder! I'm so excited you have your vacation booked and are already making plans for your
packing list.
You will be glad to know that
each Guest, 21 years or older, may bring six beers (no larger than 12 ounces each) or two bottles of wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) on board. The beers may be bottles or cans. Keep in mind that these beverages must be carried on as part of your carry-on luggage. Since you may not have access to your stateroom for several hours after boarding, I usually bring beer in cans since they don't weigh as much as bottles. You will be able to store your beverages in the small refrigerator in your stateroom. Remember, beverages brought on board are not permitted in lounges or public areas, but your Stateroom Host can provide you with drinking glasses so you can enjoy the beverages in your stateroom.
Since it sounds like you enjoy a good brew, check out the
Beverage Tasting Seminars offered during your cruise. There is often a beer-tasting seminar during longer cruises. I found it very informative and a great way to meet your fellow Guests. On your day at
Disney Castaway Cay, I suggest purchasing a cooler bag including six of your favorite beers (select beers are available) or water. You can purchase the bags as soon as you disembark the ship. The bags are a perfect way to bring memories of your cruise home!
I hope you plan to enjoy a pint in the Skipper Society lounge or the Haunted Mansion Parlor during your cruise aboard Disney Treasure! I know they are dying to have you. Don't worry, the skippers don't captain the ship, though they won't steer you wrong in enjoying your cruise. Ok, enough of my corny puns!
Happy planning, Becky! Stop by any time with your questions.
Wishing you many treasured memories,
Shannon
