Ahoy, Rebecca!
I am so glad you sailed over to planDisney with your question! Your cruise on the
Disney Dream is quickly approaching, and I can only imagine how excited you must be for this getaway.
Rebecca, I hope this is the first of many girls-only vacations with Disney Cruise Line. I have a couple of girlfriends with whom I have been fortunate enough to cruise with over the last few years, and we love the opportunity to enjoy all the adult-only offerings like relaxing in the rainforest room at
Senses Spa, listening to live music, and adventuring together in port. We also love to experience adult dining onboard, so I don't blame you for wanting to enjoy
Remy. Disney Cruise Line takes dietary restrictions very seriously, and if you haven't already, I recommend adding celiac to your cruise reservation (found under "My Reservations" on the drop-down menu). They will do everything they can to accommodate your mom if they have the resources available during your particular sailing. My advice is to visit the dining team once you board the ship so you can speak with them directly about whether brunch or dinner is the best option for your mom. Once you log in to the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app in the cruise terminal, you'll be able to see where they'll be set up onboard to assist you. Usually, this begins around noon and lasts for a few hours. I believe visiting with someone from the Remy team will put your mind at ease about this experience.
It was great to hear from you again, Rebecca. I hope you'll keep us in mind if you think of any other last-minute questions before your fabulous girls-only cruise casts off.
Nancy
