    Cruising May 2014!!! We're planning to drive to Port Canaveral the day before our cruise and get a hotel nearby. Can you make any suggestions for a close one? Also, how much is the cost of leaving our car for the week in the parking garage at the dock?

    I love your excitement for your 2014 Disney Dream sailing!   Living in Georgia, we often drive to the cruise port the day before we cruise so our departure morning is smooth sailing!  The two closest hotels within a five minute drive are The Residence Inn by Marriott and Country Inn and Suites.  Both offer parking and a shuttle to the cruise terminal, but in my opinion, the convenience and rates at the port are very reasonable.  Pricing is always subject to change, but currently pricing is $60.00 for three nights, $75.00 for four nights, $90.00 for five nights, $105.00 for six nights and $120.00 for seven nights.
