Ahoy Victoria!
Right now the Disney Magic is undergoing a magical transformation, and your family will be one of the lucky ones to set sail just shortly after the exciting re-imagining! I'm sure your crew can't wait!
I'm glad you asked this question because there are a few differences in the two programs. The
nursery is for infants 12 weeks to 3 years and does charge a nominal hourly fee. Reservations are required and spacing is limited so a small counselor to child ratio can be kept.
The Oceaneer Club and Lab is included in your cruise fare and children 3 to 12 are able to check-in and out throughout operating hours. Children must be completely potty-trained because counselors cannot assist young cruisers in the bathroom. The programming is planned with details included in your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter. If your son is checked in during lunch or dinner hours, he will be able to eat in the club or lab.
If your little sailor is potty-trained, I recommend letting him enjoy the Oceaneer Club and Lab. The first afternoon the spaces will be open for Open House hours so I suggest stopping by and checking out everything out as a family before he officially checks in for all the fun!
Thank you for stopping by with your question, Victoria! Please keep me posted if you think of any additional questions before the big day arrives!
Have a magical day!
