Hi! We are cruising on the Magic in November and are considering the Rum Point Beach adventure in Grand Cayman. My question is about the boat to get there. Is it actually a catamaran with a sail like I'm picturing or more of a ferry? Thank you!

Welcome aboard, Josh! This November, you're in for such magic when you set sail on the newly re-imagined Disney Magic (no pun intended!) I just experienced my first sailing on the Magic since it's renovation and am so impressed with the updates and changes to the ship! You're in for an amazing trip!

The Rum Point Beach Adventure is a really fun one in Grand Cayman. When I took different Port Adventures in Grand Cayman that featured a catamaran ride to arrive at our destination, it has always been more of a ferry type catamaran, not the sail type you're mentioning. This is due to the large groups of guests that book those adventures, so they need to transport them all to the beach. That being said, it's still been a fun ride with gorgeous scenery to get to the beach. Of course, transportation types are always subject to change, but this is the type of catamaran I've always experienced with these types of Port Adventures.

I hope those details help as you continue to plan your adventures, Josh! Please feel free to stop back with any other questions before you set sail this fall!
