Ahoy, Meghan!
I absolutely LOVE cruising on the Disney Magic! It was our first ship, and it is still my favorite. Since you are cruising for seven nights, you will have four nights of
cruise casual attire. There will definitely be a
Pirate Night, where many of your fellow cruisers will dress in their Pirate-y best (or worst!) and hang out with Captain Jack Sparrow and Peter Pan. The Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party is fantastic, and the best view of the fireworks is from deck 10, starboard side.
There will also be an optional Formal night, where some passengers (like my husband and myself) will dress in tuxedos and ball gowns, while many others will stick to their cruise casual attire, and everything in-between! There will be an optional semi-formal night as well, where basically the same rules apply.
Bottom line, it is YOUR vacation, so wear what you are comfortable in. If you are planning to dine in
Palo, the adults-only restaurant, there is a dress code. I highly recommend trying out the brunch at Palo. This usually takes place on a sea day. There is a wide variety of both breakfast and dinner-type offerings. One of our favorites is the grape and gorgonzola pizza.
I hope you have a MAGICal time on your Disney Cruise!
Happy Cruising in just a few days, Tracy V.
