    Cruising on the Magic Apr30-May4. Looking to rent a car at Port Canaveral to do some shopping,our plane does not leave until the following day. Any recommendations? What time we will be getting off the ship, so we can have arrange a car pick us up.

    You are going to love the memorable welcome you receive as you board the spectacular Disney Magic at the end of April!  I have cruised on this wondrous vessel twice, and it is amazing how the Disney crew brings the magical to life on the high seas!  I'm sure you are looking forward to experiencing this same magic on your voyage!

    Renting a car in Port Canaveral couldn't be easier!  Hertz, Avis and Budget all have offices located near the port and at the airport.  When you reserve your car just let them know you will need to be picked up at the Disney Cruise Line Terminal, and they will be able to send their complimentary shuttle to pick you up.  Disembarkation begins around 7:45 and continues for about two hours.  Breakfast is served on the last morning according to your first or second seating dining assignment.  If you have first seating, you will eat at 6:45am and second seating will be at 8:00am.  My family enjoys having one last delicious meal onboard while saying our final goodbyes to our wonderful dining servers.  You might want to consider your breakfast plans when planning for your rental car pick-up time.  Once you disembark, it usually takes about 30 minutes to collect your luggage and go through customs.
