    Cruising jan 26 from TX & stops are Grand Cayman & Cozumel. What can we do if we want to go ashore on our own that is close by, walking distance even: Beach, attraction, shopping?

    Ahoy Catherine!
    It won't be long now until you are setting sail for your Western Caribbean sailing on the majestic Disney Magic!  In Grand Cayman, you will tender over to the island which only takes about 10 minutes.  Within walking distance, you will find shopping and dining.  The closest beaches (Seven Mile Beach and Small Smith's Cove Beach) will be short taxi ride away if you are interested in venturing out beyond the pier area. 
    In Cozumel, you will also find shopping and dining close by, but beaches and water sports will be a taxi or van ride away. 
    When you are ready to disembark the ship, there will be maps provided by Disney Cruise Line at the gangway to help you navigate your way around the ports of call.
