Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brittany!
Your family is in for quite a treat during your
Halloween on the High Seas cruise. It is truly a frightfully fun time to sail with Captain Mickey! I love seeing all of the creative costumes during Mickey's Mouse-querade Party.
To be honest, I cannot get enough of the inflatable dinosaur costume! Everything about them is hilarious! The dinosaur costume is not on the
prohibited items list, nor is it specifically addressed in the costume guidelines.
That being said, Disney Cruise Line's number one priority is safety and they ask guests to use good judgement. Guests should choose costumes that are family friendly, do not cover your face and are not obstructive, objectionable, offensive or violent. The dinosaur costume may be obstructive at times to other guests and the size of the costume could potentially create safety issues. It is possible that the costume may be allowed onboard, but a crew member could ask the boys to remove it due to safety concerns.
My recommendation would be if your sons want to bring this costume, that you bring a backup costume in the event they are asked to remove it. This approach should result in more treats without a tricky situation for you!
Have no fear! No matter how your boys decide to celebrate during your cruise, you will have a spooktacular time. Creep back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before your high seas adventure!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
