We will be cruising @ Grand Cayman on Nov. 20. It looks like this port requires tendering. When is the frist tender time? (When will we actually be able to get off the ship?) I'm trying to see what time to tell a photographer to meet us at 7 Mile Beach

    Ahoy Meghan!
Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel with your question!  The Seven Mile beach is a gorgeous setting, and I'm sure your pictures are going to be absolutely stunning!  Beach portraits are my favorite!  The Magic is scheduled to dock at 7:30am on the morning of the 20th.  If the ship is on schedule (fingers crossed), it shouldn't take long (15 or 20 min) to begin tendering over to Georgetown.  An announcement will be made once the ship is cleared, and Guests with early Port Adventures usually are off the ship first.  The tenders hold about 300 each, and the service is continual so from ship to shore you can plan around 20 minutes or less.  (You will receive tendering instructions in your stateroom the night before so be sure to familiarize yourself with the procedures).  Once you arrive, taxis will be waiting at the pier, and the beach is only a few miles away.
Although these are estimates, Meghan, I hope my answer will give you a better idea of what to expect the morning of Grand Cayman. I would pad in a little extra time just in case!
If you have any other last minute questions, please let me know!
Have a magical day and bon voyage!
