Welcome aboard, Nafeesa! Next month you'll be leaving chilly New York behind as you head south to set sail from Port Canaveral on the beautiful Disney Dream!
There are so many amazing activities for your daughter's age group! Even though she won't be able to go on her own to the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab until she's three, you can still take her there to play in the spaces and participate in the activities during Open House hours. She will love the fun rooms there and the exciting activities planned during Open House when parents stay and play with their kiddos in the club spaces. Lately, they've even been hosting fun younger kids' activities during Open House like Puzzle Playtime with Mickey and Friends!
Check your Personal Navigator for any Disney Junior activities. It will list them in the Fun For All Ages line of the Navigator, or in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, which you should definitely download to your mobile devices before you set sail! I've seen events like Toddler Time, Wake Up With Disney Junior and more. If she loves Disney princesses, she'll have so many opportunities to meet her favorites when you're sailing. Character Greetings are all listed in your Navigator, so check daily! If you were able to snag tickets during your online check-in for the Princess Gathering, that'll be a real highlight for her. It was always one of my daughter's must-do's when she was younger. Four or five princesses arrive in the atrium to meet with guests. It's such a fun event!
Up on deck, she'll love
Nemo's Reef, a fun splash area for toddlers. And yes, if she is fully potty trained, she can also swim in the pools! You'll also enjoy taking her to character dance parties, craft times and so many other activities for guests of all ages. Have a magical cruise, Nafeesa!
