Ahoy, Heather!
It might be easier for you to ask what you SHOULDN'T eat on a Disney Cruise, since the food is so wonderful! Also, your daughter can always order off of either the kids or adult menu, so she should not hesitate to try new things. We even got our girls to try the escargot one night!
Some of my culinary favorites include:
Enchanted Garden: Ahi Tuna and Avocado Tower appetizer & Pan-Seared Sea Bass Entrée. This is my absolute favorite meal in all of the restaurants on the Disney Dream.
Royal Palace: Belle's French Onion Soup to start (I could eat this every night!) & any entrée. I have never had something I didn't love! My husband enjoys the Roasted Wild Boar Tenderloin.
Animator's Palate: Wild Mushroom Risotto appetizer & Marinated Angus Beef Tenderloin. The wasabi mashed potatoes that come with this beef are wonderful.
Be sure to order dessert as well. I usually stick to the "Sweet Temptations", which is small portions of three different desserts.
Also, if you and your husband want to try it, brunch at
Palo is one of my "do not miss" activities on any Disney Cruise Line vacation. This takes place on days at sea, and can be booked once you arrive onboard, usually in the Royal Palace restaurant. My favorite food there is the grape and gorgonzola pizza!
I hope you have a wonderful time eating on the Dream!
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
