Ahoy, Angela!
For the past two years, my husband and I have been on a Disney Cruise Line ship to celebrate "
Halloween on the High Seas". Since your cruise on the Fantasy is during the announced dates for this celebration, you can definitely count on a variety of Halloween activities while you are onboard.
First of all, as you enter the atrium, you will see Halloween decorations abound, including Mickey Mouse shaped pumpkins, fall garlands, and maybe even a giant Halloween tree! Last year, there were jack-o-lantern faces in the porthole windows as well. On many of the evenings, there will be a special Halloween activity taking place. Be sure to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App as well as the paper Daily Navigators that are left in your stateroom to learn about all of these activities.
One night, there was a special showing of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" movie in the
Walt Disney Theatre, followed by a meet and greet with Jack Skellington and Sally! There was also trick-or-treating for the kids and costume contests for the adults in the night clubs on the night that we actually celebrated Halloween.
One of the best things about a "Halloween on the High Seas" cruise is that in addition to the Halloween activities, you also still have
Pirate Night! TWO nights to dress up is even better than one!
I hope you have a wonderful cruise on the Disney Fantasy! Please visit us again with more questions as they arise before you set sail!
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
