We are cruising on the Dream in September. Our 5 mo. old will probably not be able to sit up on his own in a high chair during dinner. Should we bring his infant carrier/car seat so he can "sit" with us? Do they have slings instead of high cha

Welcome aboard, Jessica! I'm excited to hear that your family is getting ready to set sail with Captain Mickey on the Disney Dream next month! Disney Cruise Line is the perfect cruise line with which to sail when traveling with young children as they really make it easy for families!

I highly suggest bringing an umbrella stroller for your little one. The umbrella strollers are super easy to tote around, easy and small to store almost anywhere in your stateroom, and can make it much more simple when navigating around the decks with your little one. In fact, you are welcome to pull your baby's stroller right up to your table in the restaurants and let him eat from there if you think he will not be able to sit up in the highchair very well. I have not seen slings available in the restaurants, so I think your best bet is the stroller. Another option I've seen families do is to bring some towels or small blankets to roll up to help prop their babies up in the highchairs, so that's always an option as well.

I hope that helps as you count down this last few weeks until you set sail! Please let me know if I can help with anything else before you head out on the high seas!
