    We are cruising on the Dream and then headed to Walt Disney World Parks & Resort on the tail end of our vacation. Are Magic Bands used on the ship? And if so, will we use the same Magic Bands in the parks or receive new ones?

    Ahoy, Barbara!
    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You'll get to experience the magic of Disney on both land and sea, which will mean double the pixie dust for your family! It's always hard to disembark a Disney ship, so having some park time to enjoy all the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer will definitely help! At this time Magic Bands are not used aboard Disney Cruise Line. When you check-in at the Disney Cruise Line terminal you'll be given a "Key to the World" card, which will be your room key, onboard charge card and cruise identification card. It will also have your dining table number listed on the front as well as your dinner dining rotation. If this is your first Disney Cruise, I recommend bringing a lanyard for each member of your family to keep your card safe and secure throughout the cruise. You can also purchase one onboard once the shops open the first afternoon around 5:00 p.m. Guests who have cruised with Disney Cruise Line do receive a lanyard upon check-in as part of their welcome back gift.
