Welcome aboard, Norma! Sailing with Disney Cruise Line is always fun, but a multi-generational cruise with family brings so much more magic to your sailing! Plus, did you know you'll be among the first to sail on the
newly re-imagined Disney Magic? The ship is currently in dry dock undergoing some amazing transformations which will be ready at the end of October!
Disney knows how to celebrate the holidays at sea with lots of extra fun and excitement planned. While they do celebrate Halloween onboard, you'll have just missed those festivities since you'll be sailing in November. If you are sailing over
Thanksgiving Day on the Disney Magic, you're in for a real treat! Besides the fun Thanksgiving decorations and of course the traditional turkey dinner on Thanksgiving night, the characters will put on their Thanksgiving themed outfits for some great photo opportunities!
However, if you're not on the Thanksgiving sailing, I still have great news. Starting on November 10th, Disney Magic guests will be setting sail on the
Very Merrytime Cruises! There will be special holiday Deck Parties, gingerbread houses, King Triton's Tree Lighting Ceremony, holiday storytelling, themed crafts and activities and yes, the characters will be dressed in their Christmas finest! If your cruise stops at Castaway Cay, there is even more holiday fun in store on Disney's private island, including a tropical snowfall! All of these events make for some nice photo opportunities, so you might consider bringing your Christmas outfits so you can take a Christmas card photo! Holidays on the High Seas! There's nothing like them!
I hope that helps as you continue to plan your cruise Norma! Have a magical sailing!
