    Hi there, we are cruising on the Disney Magic from Barcelona in August. Please can you share a price list for the alcoholic drinks we can purchase while dining? Will we be paying in £, $ or euros? Thank you

    I bet you can hardly wait to cast off from Barcelona to cruise the Mediterranean this summer on the beautiful Disney Magic! 

    The ship operates on U.S. dollars regardless of port of departure or itinerary. All of your purchases on the Disney Magic will go on to your Key to the World card so you will not have to worry about having cash while onboard. When you complete your online check-in, you'll have an opportunity to link a credit card to your account and your purchases will be charged to your stateroom after the cruise is over.

    When I sailed in April, the prices for specialty cocktails ranged from around $5.75 (a little less for the "drink of the day") to around $11.00. Domestic beer is around $4.25 while imported will run you about a dollar or so more. Glasses of wine begin around $5.25 and go up from there. Premium alcohol is available and can get pricey!  Tax and a 15 percent gratuity is added to all drink purchases made onboard.
