Ahoy, Lenice!
The Disney Magic was my first Disney Cruise Line ship, it still holds a special place in my heart. Be sure to try the
Aquadunk at least once (that was enough for me, but I can say that I tried it!). Also, the banana bread in Carioca's was one of my favorite foods onboard!
You can bring you hair straightener onto the ship, just be sure to unplug it anytime it is not in use. The complete list of prohibited items is
here, if you care to read it, it gave me a good chuckle. The outlets are found in the desk area and not in the bathrooms, and there is a hair dryer provided in one of the drawers of the desk as well.
Your daughter will be able to stay well-hydrated, as there is water available at the complimentary drink stations. I have also found that the water from the tap in the staterooms is delicious,, but often not very cold. You can get ice delivered to your stateroom, simply ask your stateroom attendant. You might consider bringing a refillable water bottle for your daughter, as the cups at the drink stations are quite small.
I hope you have a wonderful cruise onboard the amazing Disney Magic! Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more questions as they arise.
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
