We are cruising on the Disney Fantasy leaving for the Western Carribean March 5, 2016. Which night should I expect formal dining night to be? I have Palo reservations on Sunday and would prefer for that reservation not to coincide with formal night.

    Ahoy Tara!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Western Caribbean sailing is just around the corner, so I know you're counting down the days until it's your turn to set sail! I'm sure you can't wait to experience all the Disney Fantasy has to offer during your weeklong journey on the high seas.
One of my favorite ways to enjoy time with my husband on our Disney Cruise vacations is to dine at Palo. We usually try to make reservations for a time that allows us to enjoy the stunning ocean views before the sun sets. I look forward to this culinary treat on every sailing! On your particular cruise, formal night is typically scheduled for Sunday (Day Two). Scheduling is always subject to change, but formal night is almost always on the first sea day on the seven-night voyages. You can change your reservation now and/or wait to check with the dining team on the first afternoon aboard since some reservations are held back for embarkation day. If you wait, you will have a chance to see your dining rotation on your Key to the World card before deciding on your Palo night. I suggest not missing either visit to Animator's Palate if at all possible because it's a one-of-a-kind meal experience.
Thank you for continuing to use the Moms Panel, Tara! Please let us know if you think of anything else before you leave. We are always happy to help!
    Have a magical day!
