    We are cruising on the Disney Fantasy in 26 days. My husband is a smoker, is there places on the ship he can do that? And are there places at Castaway Cay he can do that as well? Thank you

    Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rebecca!

    All your careful planning is about to pay off with smooth sailing in just a few short weeks.  Can you believe it is almost time for you to set sail with Captain Mickey?  I am so excited for you to start your high seas adventure!

    How considerate of you to include planning for your husband's comfort during your magical getaway.  Disney Cruise Line wants to make sure that all guests are comfortable during their vacation.  For guests who would like to smoke, it is allowed onboard in designated smoking areas.  On the Disney Fantasy, you can smoke anytime on Deck 13 forward, on the port side near Currents Bar, or on Deck 12 aft, also on the port side in the outdoor area accessible through the Meridian Lounge.  Smoking is also permitted in the overnight hours between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM on Deck 4 aft, on the port side of the Promenade Deck.  It is important to know that you cannot smoke in your stateroom or on your verandah.

    You can let your husband know that smoking is also allowed in any outdoor area on Castaway Cay.  I spoke with a Cast Member to confirm this was still the policy and they informed me Disney Cruise Line just asks that if you smoke in any common areas on the island, to be considerate of those around you and that litter is placed in the appropriate receptacles and not dropped on the ground.

    While on my favorite Bahamian oasis, be sure to spend some time with your husband at the adult exclusive Serenity Bay Beach.  It is a peaceful slice of heaven!  Have lunch at the Serenity Bay BBQ for some special treats (steak!) offered only at this location.
