Hi there. We are cruising on the Disney Dream 9/27-10/2. I was wondering what the themed nights are so we can dress the kids accordingly. Thank you!

    Ahoy there, Mary!

I'm so thrilled to welcome you aboard planDisney! Can you believe that your magical voyage on the stunning Disney Dream is almost here? I can only imagine how excited you must be as the date gets closer. The Dream is a truly breathtaking ship — one of my personal favorites in the Disney Cruise Line fleet — with so much to see, do, and enjoy onboard. To make it even more special, your itinerary is part of the festive Halloween on the High Seas celebration, which means you'll get to enjoy not only the incredible experiences that come standard on every Disney cruise, but also all the spooky-fun extras that make this sailing one-of-a-kind. What an unforgettable adventure you have ahead!

I totally get wanting to know the themed night schedule ahead of time...especially when you've got kids in the mix. It makes things so much easier when you can plan outfits, pack what you need, and get everyone excited for the fun evenings onboard. Just keep in mind that entertainment and dress-up nights can sometimes change, but here's the schedule that's currently planned for your sailing:

    • Night One - Cruise Casual: What better way to kick off your vacation than with a relaxed evening? Most Guests go for comfy but nice outfits. It's the perfect way to ease into vacation mode as you enjoy your very first dinner onboard.
    • Night Two - Pirate Night: Ahoy, matey! This is the night to pull out your best pirate look...whether that's a full costume or just a bandana and eye patch. The whole ship gets into the spirit with themed dining, activities, and, of course, the Pirates in the Caribbean deck party that ends with fireworks at sea. It's such a blast!
    • Night Three - Optional Dress-up Night: Time to get a little fancy! While it's totally optional, many Guests like to dress up in semi-formal or even formal attire. It's the perfect night to take some family photos.
    • Night Four - Halloween on the High Seas or Cruise Casual: Here you get to decide, keep it simple with casual wear, or join in the Halloween fun with costumes! There's trick-or-treating, Mickey's Mousequerade, and plenty of festive touches that bring the spooky season to life, Disney style.
    • Night Five - Cruise Casual: Your last evening onboard is usually a little more low-key. Most Guests stick with casual outfits again, which makes it easy to relax, enjoy dinner, and soak up every last bit of Disney magic before heading home.
Before you set sail, I suggest downloading the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. It's truly your best friend at sea, giving you easy access to daily activities, entertainment schedules, dining times, and any updates throughout your voyage.

Mary, as you set your sights on your magical journey, remember you can always steer back to planDisney for tips and answers. We're here to make every moment unforgettable!

    SEAS the day!
