I am cruising on the Disney Dream in September. Can you please explain how tipping works? I have a credit account set up, can I charge the tips? How much and to whom? Thank you for your help!

    Ahoy Lisa!
Welcome the Moms Panel! I was a bit confused on tipping when I first started cruising so I'm happy to fill you in on the details!  Your stateroom host/hostess, dining server, assistant server, and dining room head server will go above and beyond to take care of your needs in your stateroom and when visiting the main dining rooms each evening.  To show your appreciation, you will thank them with the gratuities on the last night of your cruise.  At the beginning of your sailing, your stateroom account will be charged the suggested gratuity amount which ends up being $12.00 per family member, per day ($4.00 for the dining server, $3.00 for the assistant, $1.00 for the head server, and $4.00 for the stateroom host/hostess).  Before the last night, prepaid gratuity vouchers with printed envelopes will be delivered to your stateroom.  You will need to tear them apart, stick them in the coordinating envelope and pass them out on the last evening.
I hope this makes sense, Lisa!  If I can assist you further, please let me know!
    Have a magical day!
