    Hi all! We will be cruising on Disney Dream in late April 2015, to Bahamas. My daughter will be 11 in early June. She didn't want to "hang out" with the younger kids, she wanted to go with the Tweens. Is Disney flexible with the age parameters? T

    I am so glad you came to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about your upcoming cruise on the beautiful Disney Dream! My youngest daughter was 10 years old on our last family cruise. We were traveling with good friends, so we had six kids, ranging in age from ten to fourteen. It was our experience that they allowed our daughter to go to the Edge Tween Club with her friends.

    I believe this is very dependent on the amount of kids in any given age range on the ship, so my answer is not a guarantee that your daughter will be able to do the same.

    The good news is that you can grant your daughter permission to check herself in and out of the Oceaneer Club, should she not be allowed into the Edge tween club. There are also plenty of places for kids to be together and "hang out" that is not the clubs.
