We will be cruising on the Disney Dream in June. Our children will be 11 and 13 while onboard and I was wondering if they need to be pre-registered for Edge. I booked other activities online, but didn't see anywhere to register for youth clubs.

    Ahoy Alexis!
It is great to hear from you again!  My daughter has recently turned 11 and is looking forward to trying out Edge on our next sailing.  Since Edge allows the tweens to come and go as often as they like during operating hours, there is no need to pre-register.  When you book a cruise reservation, the ages of Guests between 3-17 are monitored closely so Disney Cruise Line can determine how many Guests will be utilizing the Oceaneer Club, Oceaneer Lab, Edge and Vibe.  This helps with capacity issues and counselor-to-Guest ratio in the youth spaces. Planned programming begins on the evening of the first night so I recommend your two visit so they can get to know other tweens and the fantastic youth counselors.
I hope this helps, Alexis!  Thanks so much for continuing to use the Moms Panel!
    Have a magical day!
