We will be cruising in 2018 with our children, one will be 18 one will be 16. Would our 16 year old be able to eat at Palos? Iv seen younger children in palos, and wondered if this is possible? Thank you.

Welcome aboard, Tatje! Isn't it exciting to have a magical cruise to look forward to next year? I love having one cruise in the planning stages so I'm always enjoying some Disney planning, no matter how far out it may be!

Palo is simply my favorite restaurant at sea. No matter which of Disney's four pixie-dusted ships we're enjoying, my husband and I never miss an opportunity to dine at this Adult Exclusive restaurant. It sounds like you've sailed before and have also had the opportunity to experience an amazing meal at Palo! Now that your oldest is going to be 18, he or she will be able to enjoy that delicious evening with you this time. I'm sorry to say that your 16 year-old is still two years too young to go to Palo, as it is reserved exclusively for those guests who are 18 and older. In fact, the booking system will not even allow guests younger than that to be reserved.

However, Vibe is the hippest place at sea for teens ages 14 - 17, and I'm positive that your younger teen will have tons of activities to enjoy with new friends at Vibe while you're dining at Palo. And when hunger strikes, he or she can grab a bite to eat on the pool deck, at Cabanas with new friends, or even order from the complimentary 24-hour room service menu. He or she might be having even more fun at Vibe than you are in Palo, so I promise it'll still be a great night.

Have so much fun planning, Tatje!
