Hi!! I am cruising to the bahamas and thought about gettig the passport card for my kids. But what if something happens and I have to fly back from the bahamas..Will the kids be able to fly also with just a card?

    Hi Lisa!
Welcome back to the Moms Panel!  You are very smart to be planning ahead for your Bahamian voyage!  Passport cards can be used to enter the U.S. via a seaport, but cannot be used for international air travel.  If you were to get these cards, your kids could not fly back to the U.S. in the case of an unlikely emergency.  A Passport book is the only form of identification that can be used for air travel.
I hope my answer helps with your decision, Lisa!  Please let me know if you have any further questions about your magical voyage!  I'm always happy to help!
    Have a wonderful day!
