    We are cruising in April 22-29 on the Dream. I was hoping to find out when the 'pirate day' aboard would be. I realize its all weather dependent etc, but we want to make sure were not making appointments for the boutique on the same day

    I’m so glad you sailed by planDisney about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation aboard the Disney Dream. 

    One of my favorite events aboard a Disney Cruise ship is the swashbuckling Pirate Night! Even thinking about it now has me singing, "Yo Ho (A Pirate's Life for Me)!” Now, you are right that when it comes to your itinerary and the themed nights, it's important to note that while themed nights are definitely scheduled, the exact timing of each is subject to change!

    I checked to see if your specific itinerary has been listed, but it doesn’t seem to be out just yet. This may be because the Disney Dream is going to be shifting from the typical 5-night itinerary to the 7-night itinerary which your cruise is – lucky you! But never ye’ fear Scott, we have a few tips for helping you make your plans.

    Once your cruise is paid in full, you can make reservations online as soon as your cruise activities booking window opens. I suggest that you browse Onboard Activities and check the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for Pirates League offerings. Pirates League makeovers are only offered on Pirate Night, so by checking there as soon as your booking window opens, you will hopefully be able to schedule a timber-shivering transformation for your young swashbuckler and you will know which night to plan for more pirate fun! Scott, once you embark, your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will update and confirm which night is scheduled to be Pirate Night. Of course, as you know, entertainment offerings are subject to change so keep an ear out for updates from your Cruise Director.

    Scott, your 7-night cruise sounds completely dreamy! I hope you are able to enjoy all that the Disney Dream has to offer. One of my must-do events is "Disney Believe." The heart-warming storyline and the beloved Disney songs always remind me why a Disney Cruise Line cruise is in a league of its own!
