cruising 9/2/13 to alaska with 4yo, husband and parents. must see are whales, gold panning, mendenhall and whitepass. which excursions do you recommend on which day such that i get all the must haves and be back for pixar pal party on time for day 5?

    Ahoy Catherine!
It is great to hear from you again!  An Alaskan voyage is the perfect choice for your multigenerational vacation!  I definitely have a few recommendations for your crew and two of them cover more than one adventure on your "must do" list!
In Skagway, I suggest booking the White Pass Railway and Trail Camp because it includes a narrated ride on the rail car as well as a panning for gold opportunity!  In Juneau, the Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Quest will allow you to see this spectacular glacier followed by some whale watching!  Since the ship departs at 4:30 PM on Day Five/Juneau you won't have to worry about missing the Pixar Party because it is scheduled for 10:15 PM.  In Ketchikan, I suggest either the Annette Island Cultural Celebration with Exclusive Family Activity or The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show
I hope my suggestions are helpful, Catherine!  Please let me know if I can assist you further!
    Have a magical day!
