Welcome aboard, Ives!
It sounds like you're already experienced Disney Cruise veterans. Being part of the Castaway Club is pretty special. That means that you've already sailed with Disney before and are back for more magic! Plus, isn't is neat that Disney treats their
Castaway Club members to special in-room welcome gifts? My kids love opening the door to our stateroom that first day to find what is waiting for us!
As you know,
Disney Cruise Line's Rotational Dining is a really cool feature of sailing with Captain Mickey. My family especially loves that we are assigned dining servers that stay with us the whole cruise, rotating through each restaurant with us, getting to know our preferences, and we have fun getting to know them. My kids come equipped with new jokes and riddles to try to stump them each night, but they always have even more riddles, magic tricks, and jokes to entertain our kids. What fun!
Usually, a group of six will have their own table. However, if you're interested in being seated with others, add a note about that to your reservation. Call the agents at Disney Cruise Line to do so. It isn't guaranteed, but Disney does try to accommodate requests. If you find that at dinner, you do have a private table, did you know that at breakfast and lunch, guests can be seated with others if they'd like when they arrive at the restaurants. The table service restaurants have large tables where they'll combine parties during these meals at times, so just ask when you arrive to dine for breakfast or lunch. It's fun to get to know other cruisers!
Have so much fun planning your adventure at sea, Ives. Please let us know if you have other questions before you set sail on your next magical voyage!
