For cruises from Port Canaveral we have taken a Disney bus from Orlando airport to the port. For cruises from Miami, there does not seem to be any Disney buses going from the Miami airport to the port. What would you recommend?

Welcome back, Linda! I am so happy you stopped by with this question, because you'll be glad to hear that Disney Cruise Line does, indeed, offer ground transfers for guests flying into and out of the Miami airport.

My family and I take advantage of the Disney Cruise Line ground transfers no matter which port we sail from. Each time, they've made our transition from land to sea and back again super seamless and easy. It's a great way to begin your vacation, that's for sure! Call the agents at Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 at least three days prior to your sailing (I recommend just doing it now), to add these transfers to your reservation. There is an additional cost for transfers, but I promise it is worth every penny to let them take care of the details.

Once you arrive at the Miami airport, you'll grab your luggage at baggage claim, where you'll also meet with a Disney Cruise Line representative who will check you in and whisk you away to your motorcoach to head to the port. It couldn't be easier, Linda!

Additionally, if you want to fly in the day before, Disney Cruise Line has partnered with two different resorts in the Miami area for guests who will set sail the following day. You can book Disney Cruise Line transfers from the airport to these resorts, then from the resorts to the port nearby, and then back to the airport after your cruise. The Conrad Miami and the Marriott Stanton South Beach are both beautiful resorts not far from the port, which make for a relaxing night before you set sail in the morning.

I hope those details help as you continue planning your cruise, Linda!
