Are cruises still departing from port of Miami?

    Ahoy there, Lauren!

Welcome to planDisney! I'm glad you sailed by with your question. It sounds like you are ready to book a wonderful Disney Cruise Line vacation; I'm jealous!

Currently, you have two Florida ports to choose from: Port Canaveral or Fort Lauderdale's Port Everglades. I recently sailed from Fort Lauderdale and loved the convenience of the port.

And here is some fun news, Lauren! Beginning in, June 2024, many cruises departing from Fort Lauderdale will visit Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, Disney Cruise Line's newest Bahamian island destination. This private destination features a grand celebration of the art, traditions, and natural beauty of The Bahamas. Those itineraries are certainly worth checking out!

Lauren, as you plan your Disney cruise vacation, please let us know if you have other questions. We are always thrilled to help other Guests with top tips for making the most of your time!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
