Ahoy there, Rochelle! Thank you for your question, and I hope we have you shipshape and ready to sail in no time.
First, you're right. A
Disney Cruise Line vacation is comparable in price to a
Walt Disney World vacation. When you consider food, many of your beverages, and some pretty fantastic entertainment are all included with your price to sail, my family has found the price between the two vacations to be very similar.
There are
accessible staterooms available on a Disney Cruise ship, and after talking with a friend who uses a rollator walker when cruising, she said it may be up to you to decide if it's a good decision for you. In her experience, she can fit her rollator in the bathroom of a regular stateroom, but she doesn't need it, for the most part, to get around the stateroom. She did say, however, that she'd have no trouble maneuvering around the cabin with the walker.
The
Disney ships all have adult-exclusive areas that you might enjoy, including pools,
nightclubs, entertainment areas, and lounges. I would say as a first-time cruiser, it might be a great idea to start with something shorter - like a 3 or 4-night voyage that takes you to Nassau in the
Bahamas and Disney's private island,
Castaway Cay.
When you book, Rochelle, reach out to

I hope you decide to go and enjoy a high seas adventure, Rochelle. It's definitely my favorite type of vacation, and I think Disney is the perfect place to get your feet wet!
