    We have cruised on another cruise line and this is our 1st Disney cruise. On the other cruise line when you chose to pay with cash you can on the first day set up a credit and pay with cash then, does Disney do that or do you have pay at the end?

    Disney Cruise Line allows guests to set up their onboard account by either credit card or on a cash basis, or both! When you begin your online check-in, 75 days prior to sailing for first time guests, you will assign a credit card to your account or choose cash. Any charges made to your account will be charged to the card on file at the end of the cruise. Should you choose to settle with cash, you'll choose that option and then you'll be allowed to charge up to a certain amount on your Key To The World Card as you sail before you'll need to stop down to Guest Services to settle up in cash. Then, you can begin charging again up to that allowance before settling with more cash. Additionally, you're always welcome to call Disney Cruise Line prior to sailing to make a payment toward your onboard account with a debit card if you'd like to have credit waiting on your account. My family actually prefers to purchase Disney Gift Cards before we set sail. Since our local grocery store offers double, triple or quadruple fuel rewards on gift card purchases, we save money on gas purchases there just by purchasing our Disney Gift Cards there before we set sail. Then, we add the Disney Gift Cards to our onboard account as credit to spend onboard. It's a great way to budget for our family, Tracy.
