Would like to take a cruise this year with are teen son, we do not want to fly to a Florida. Is there a disney cruise that goes out of the Texas Gulf port and were does it go and for how many days. Thank you.

Welcome aboard, Tammy! I'm glad you're interested in setting sail with Disney Cruise Line! My family has sailed with other cruise lines in the past but once we found Disney, we knew we'd never sail with another cruise line again. Disney Cruise Line's high level of customer service and the ability to make magic happen is what keeps us coming back again and again!

I'm sorry to say that Disney Cruise Line is no longer sailing out of Galveston, Texas. I was fortunate enough to enjoy two family cruises with Disney out of Galveston last year, but they just concluded their final sailing there this month. Currently, all four ships are sailing out of Florida, both Miami and Port Canaveral, and besides the European and Alaskan sailings this summer, they're scheduled to stay in Florida through the rest of this year and the first half of 2015.

The second half of the 2015 itineraries have not yet been released, so we'll have to wait and see what home ports Disney Cruise Line will have then.

Stop back again if you have other questions, Tammy. I'm happy to help and hope you'll still be able to find a way to set sail with Disney!
