Ahoy there, Emmanuel! Welcome, friend, and thank you for cruising by with your question.
Disney Cruise Line travels to many
destinations, and they've always got some great
port adventures lined up for the ports your voyage takes you to. If you decide, however, that you
don't want to get off the ship when it's in port, you don't have to at all. And for a lot of people, it's a great day to be onboard your
Disney Cruise Line ship.
While you may notice that things are not quite as hustling and bustling, there will still be plenty to do onboard while your ship is in port. There will still be activities at the
Youth Clubs, so if you're traveling with children, they can still go and play and have fun while you enjoy some of your own quiet time. It's a great time to catch a movie in the theater or grab a lounge chair on deck and read a book. The
salon and spa will also be open, and it's a great time to look for special deals on services, and you can always head to the
fitness center for a workout.
You will have dining options, as the buffet, the on-deck locations, and usually one of the table service restaurants will be open, and you'll find as the day goes on, there may be some afternoon activities like beverage tastings or trivia games. We've also seen ice carving demonstrations, some ship tours, and some poolside fun on port days.
Emmanuel, I hope you have an absolutely amazing trip! Port days are a great time to really explore and enjoy your beautiful ship.
Anna
