Mary jane from ON Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am going on a cruise and staying at WDW before and after the cruise at different hotels. I won't need all my luggage on the cruise. Is it possible to store one or two suitcase(s) at WDW while on the cruise? It is a four day cruise. Thanks

Ahoy, Mary Jane! I'm so glad you found the light where the sky meets the sea and followed it to planDisney!

It sounds like you have a truly magical vacation awaiting you this fall! There's nothing like spending time in The Most Magical Place on Earth, then setting sail for the high seas on Disney Cruise Line. We've done a few vacations similar to this and I think you're going to love having a relaxing, yet fun-filled cruise sandwiched between two Walt Disney World Resort vacations!

Mary Jane, currently there isn't an option to store your luggage at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel prior to embarking on your voyage on Disney Cruise Line. I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for, but Hakuna Matata! No worries! I'm happy to let you know that there is plenty of space in your stateroom cabin to house your luggage. I think you'll find that the space under the bed, in particular, will be able to hold all of your luggage with room to spare. This just means extra space for souvenirs, if you ask me!

My best tip would be to pack your luggage divided by trips. Keep a personal bag with all of your most important necessities, such as medications and toiletries, then separate your other clothes into different bags for Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Cruise Line. This way, you can tuck your Walt Disney World Resort bags under your bed for safekeeping, then use the closets, vertical storage, and drawers for your Disney Cruise Line clothes. If you are looking for extra advice on what to pack, be sure to take a peek at the recommended packing lists

While you're putting the finishing touches of pixie dust on your vacation, don't forget to download and explore the My Disney Experience app! This app is a little like holding a magic wand in your hand, unlocking everything that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. You'll be able to magically check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and - my favorite - mobile order food. This is a great way to minimize waits and maximize the fun! Oh, and you'll also want to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. This will give you a great countdown until your cruise, but will also be a valuable resource for you once you're aboard your ship!

    "Sea" ya real soon!
