Ahoy there, Tammy!
Thanks for dropping anchor at planDisney! It sounds like you’ve got an incredible family adventure on the horizon. Cruising with your son and his family is such a special way to make lasting memories together—I know firsthand how fun it is to sail with loved ones!
To ensure you’re dining together and can plan activities as a group, you’ll want to link your reservations. If you worked with a travel agent, they can handle this for you. Otherwise, it’s a simple process you can do in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app:
1. Log in to your account and head to the reservations page (don’t click on your reservation).
2. Select “Add Reservation.”
3. Enter the reservation number, the last name of one Guest in the other stateroom, and their date of birth.
Once the reservations are linked, Disney Cruise Line will automatically assign you to the same dining rotation and table, so you can enjoy meals together without any extra steps. Only one person needs to link the reservations—it’s like sprinkling pixie dust on the whole group! If you encounter any hiccups during this process, give Disney Cruise Line a call, and their helpful Cast Members will sort it out for you.
Keep in mind that if you’re
Castaway Club Members and your son’s family isn’t, your booking windows for onboard activities,
Port Adventures, and check-in will open at different times. While you won’t be able to make bookings for them until their window opens, you can coordinate plans once they’re able to book!
Speaking of making memories, don’t miss
Pirate Night on your sailing. It’s so much fun to dress up as swashbucklers and dance the night away under the stars. If costumes aren’t your style, matching pirate-themed T-shirts are a fun way to coordinate as a group!
Tammy, I hope this helps you prepare for a smooth and magical adventure with your family. Wishing you all a voyage filled with laughter, special moments, and memories to treasure forever!
Sea ya real soon with pixie dust and ocean breezes,
Dustin
