Going on a cruise in sept 2012. Should we book our excursions or wait til we get on the boat? If it rains and we can't do it are we just out the money? How many days in advance can you cancel. Thanks!

    Ahoy Tammie!

Welcome back to the Moms Panel!  September will be here in no time, and you will be embarking on a magical cruise adventure with Disney Cruise Line!  Yippee!  I definitely recommend booking your Port Adventures prior to sailing.  If you are new cruiser, you can book your Port Adventures up to 75 days before your vacation.  There is no need to worry about situations out of your control because Disney Cruise Line does refund money in the event of rain or an itinerary change.  Cancellations by Guests must be done up to three days before boarding.  So my advice is to go ahead and plan your shore excursions because many will sell out online.  If that does happen, you can always visit the Port Adventure Desk onboard for other recommendations.

I hope my answer helps with your planning!  As you continue your cruise countdown, please let me know if I can assist you further!  I'm always happy to help!

    Have a wonderful day!
