This is our 2nd cruise- sail date Jan 30th on the Disney Fantasy-my husband will be celebrating his 50th birthday. I made note of this through our online registration with Disney, however, should I call Guest Services as well? Missed out last year:(

    Ahoy, Rodney!

How exciting that you will be setting sail with Captain Mickey and his crew aboard the Disney Fantasy next month!

Such a milestone birthday must most definitely be celebrated in every way possible! I have found that more is better with Disney Cruise Line. So, not only would I make a note on the reservation, I would stop by the Guest Services desk onboard and mention it. I would also be sure to tell your servers the first night at dinner and let them know which night you prefer to celebrate, they will make it memorable for sure!

Also, over the summer, our family sailed on the Disney Dream. My birthday was 2 days before we boarded and my daughter's was the day after we disembarked. So, I called Disney Cruise Line to order the Birthday Theme Cabin Decorations for both of our staterooms. It was amazing to walk into the decorated stateroom! There were magnetic decorations hanging from the ceiling that we were able to move around to wherever we wanted them. We also had a cute Birthday photo frame and a large door magnet. I was happy that I had done it. You can see an example of these decorations on the Gifts and Amenities tab.

I might also suggest some fun t-shirts announcing the big 5-0!

I hope you have an amazing second cruise aboard the Fantasy! Be sure to book a nice dinner at Palo or Remy to celebrate as well.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
