Hi Karol,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for sailing by with your question.
Your December cruise will be extra jolly and a perfect start to ring in the new year. And, I'm glad you are setting your sights on another cruise! The
new Summer 2025 itineraries sound so lovely; I'm thinking of booking one myself.
Karol,
Onboard Booking Offers allow you to prepay the deposit and receive a 10% discount on the prevailing fare of a future cruise. Unfortunately, according to the
Terms & Conditions, this offer must be used on a new booking and can not be applied to an existing reservation. Using an Onboard Booking Offer for a previously booked cruise would require you to cancel your existing reservation and start the booking process from scratch. Since the fare for a cruise tends to rise as the cruise gets closer, you may find that the new fare would be higher even with the 10% discount. The good news is that you could use the placeholder offer to set sail again within 24 months! Of course, if you decide that another cruise isn't right for your crew at that time, the $250 deposit is fully refundable. Keep in mind that Terms & Conditions may change without notice at any time.
You have so much to look forward to, Karol! You will be on your way to the next
Castaway Club membership level in no time. I enjoy booking cruises, onboard activities, and specialty dining early based on club membership level. And it is always a pixie-dusted surprise to find little gifts that magically appear in our stateroom. The Castaway Club is one of the
many things I appreciate about a Disney Cruise Line vacation!
Let us know if you have other questions as you plan your holidays, Karol!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
