    On the cruise, do they provide with a complementary photo of each event that the child attends since no adults are allowed in the child areas of the ship? Asking because I have a 3 and a 13 year old, and first cruise. thank you

    Welcome aboard, Moirelle! It sounds like you are really looking forward to your very first Disney cruise! There is so much happening onboard the ships for all ages, I promise you'll each find something that's just right for you!

    The Youth Clubs do not provide photos for each activity, but there is a great way for you to pop in and enjoy some of the exciting entertainment and activities in the clubs with your children. Each day there will be a few set Open House hours in the clubs. During these times, parents stay with their children in the club spaces to participate in the planned events or simply explore the spaces with their children. These are some of my favorite times onboard because my kids get to show me around their space. We've loved baking cookies together during Ratatouille Cooking School or making Flubber together during Super Sloppy Science. I take lots of photos during those times! There will be Open House hours in the tween club Edge too, so you can spend some time there with your 13 year old!

    Check your Personal Navigator each day, which is the ship's schedule of events and activities, broken down hour by hour for adults, families, and each youth club. My family usually brings a different color highlighter for each of us so we can highlight our favorites for the following day. We participate in many of the family activities, like Trivia, Game Shows and crafts together around the ship. Then, the kids go off on their own in the clubs while my husband and I enjoy the adult spaces or Quiet Cove Pool. And we try to show up for Open Houses a few times throughout the cruise too. I promise you'll have lots of family time opportunities where you'll be able to record many many memories for those scrapbooks, Moirelle!
