Hi, we are going on a cruise in October. My question is, what type of identification or documentation do we need. 2 adults, and 2 kids.

    Ahoy Kevin!
October is a wonderful time to set sail on a Disney Cruise Line adventure!  This year all the ships will be experiencing spooktacular fun all month long in celebration of Halloween so your voyage will be extra magical!
Closed-loop sailings (leaving and arriving from the same U.S. port) only require a certified birth certificate for each Guest.  But, Disney Cruise Line does recommend all Guests travel with a valid passports just in case of an unforeseen emergency.  Guests needing to travel by air from foreign ports of calls do need to have a passport to fly home.  My advice is to read over the Passport Information on the Disney Cruise Line website to help make the best decision for your family.
Thank you for stopping by the Moms Panel, Kevin!  If I can assist you further, please let me know.
    Have a magical day!
