Our cruise is the 7 night Caribbean and Bahamas with stops at St. Thomas, Puerto Rico and Castaway.... I was wondering if the adults will need a passport or passport cards or if is enough with Birth Certificate? Since we are not leaving the USA??

Welcome aboard, Sandra! Isn't it exciting to be planning your magical Disney cruise getaway? I bet you can't wait to set sail to St. Thomas, Puerto Rico and my favorite place, Castaway Cay!

Disney Cruise Line's website details the travel documents you will need. This particular sailing requires only driver's licenses and for children, birth certificates. However, I highly recommend having passports for your entire family. We like to play it safe and have them with us, especially when we head off in the different ports of call. If something were to happen that you'd need to fly home from the port, having a passport would certainly expedite that process and make a stressful situation much less hassle.

It's really up to you, but be sure to check out Disney's FAQ page on why they recommend passports as well.

Have fun planning the rest of your cruise, Sandra, and please let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail!
