Hi Monique,
Welcome aboard planDisney! Thanks so much for bringing your question to us. A
Disney Cruise Line vacation is a special way to enter Ramadan for your family, so let me offer some suggestions for you to begin the holiday well.
Since the regular sit-down breakfast offering option in your last
rotational dining restaurant does not begin until after sunrise, let me share with you two possible options. First,
Cove Café will be open for specialty coffees and other small items from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. If my research is correct, the full sunrise on March 11, 2024 will be around 7:30 a.m. on the Florida east coast, so that timing might not work for you.
So, here is another suggestion. You may order
complimentary room service on the final night of your cruise until 1:00 a.m. (subject to change, however). There are several options on the menu that do not require refrigeration or heating, and you could keep refrigerated items in your stateroom refrigerator until you are ready for breakfast. I ordered breakfast items for embarkation day when a member of my cruise party had an early flight and needed to disembark the ship as soon as the “all clear” was given. The items were delivered before we went to bed and she was able to enjoy it on our stateroom verandah before sunrise.
Monique, I also suggest that you visit the
Onboard Dining Session offered on embarkation day, as they may have other options available for you. The time and location of this special opportunity to speak with a member of the Dining Team will be available on your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app as soon as you board the ship. If you have any other
dietary special requests, you may complete the Special Requests form on the Disney Cruise Line website under My Reservations. If you would like to request a halal meal, it is highly recommended that you submit the request at least five weeks prior to your sail date, otherwise, you may submit requests for up to three days prior to embarkation.
I hope this information is helpful to you, Monique. Please sail back by planDisney if you have any other questions or need some tips for making the most of your magical Disney Cruise.
Wishing you a Ramadan Mubarak,
Shannon
