we are going on a Cruise May 18, we are staying at a hotel nearby port. what do we do with our luggage since it will be with us?? Thanks so much!!

Great to hear from you Ashley!

With about a month left to go in your cruise countdown, I'm sure you are ready to be dazzled by lots of pixie dust onboard Disney Cruise Line!  It will be here before you know it!

Before you leave your hotel, make sure the luggage tags you were sent by Disney Cruise Line are attached to all the bags you plan to give to the porter. (These tags will arrive with your cruise documents about two to three weeks prior to your cruise.) I always keep a carry-on with me that contains our important documents, cameras, medications, swimsuits, and sunscreen (my kids like to hit the pool deck as soon as we board) to have for the first afternoon. When you pull up to the Disney Cruise Line Terminal, you will be able to stop and drop off your luggage with a porter before you park.  The porter will make sure all your bags are tagged, and that they are delivered to the ship for you.  If you are riding a shuttle, they will stop at the same location to drop your family and everyone's luggage.  Your luggage will magically appear a few hours later outside of your stateroom!

After a quick security check, you will be heading up the escalator to the spacious Disney Cruise Line terminal to check-in for your magical voyage!

I hope my answer helps with your pre-cruise plans.  If you think of anything else, please let me know!

Have a wonderful day and bon voyage!
