Welcome aboard, Michele! You must be so excited that you only have a couple of months left until you set sail with Captain Mickey and his crew! There is so much to look forward to, including those exciting Port Adventures you mentioned.
Once your
online check-in begins, 75 days prior to departure for
first time cruisers, you can log into your reservation and begin making reservations for
Port Adventures. You'll see the prices listed in the descriptions of these adventures, and the cost will be charged to your onboard stateroom account. As you arrive at port, you'll put a credit card on the account to cover the charges you make, including Port Adventures. If you'd like to pay them ahead of time, simply call Disney Cruise Line, or your travel agent, and make a payment to credit your stateroom account. Then, as you arrive, you'll already have a credit on your account so that when those adventures or other onboard charges post, they'll be covered. Alternately, just let it be charged to your credit card on file at the end of the sailing. We actually prefer to set money aside a little at a time by purchasing Disney Gift Cards each month before we sail. We then call Disney Cruise Line or wait until we're onboard to add those as credits to our stateroom account. It helps us budget better and we don't feel like we have one large cost all at once.
I hope those details help as you continue to plan, Michele. Stop back again if you have further questions. I'm happy to help!
